Every patient deserves the highest quality eye care, and Family Eye Care of Atlanta strives to provide exceptional variety and affordability to all our patients. Unfortunately, a small number of insurance and vision plan companies changed their policies to be more restrictive, which we feel, compromises the level of care that we hope to give you.
With his in mind, we’ve made the difficult decision to become an out-of-network provider, effective as of September 15, 2019, for EyeMed and Spectera insurances.
The good news:
Many of our patients will be unaffected by this change. In fact, EyeMed or Spectera patients who came in for eye exams can still utilize their medical insurance, which is separate from EyeMed or Spectera.
We will continue to accept: Flex Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Vision Service Plan (VSP), and most PPO medical insurance providers including insurances listed on our insurance page.
The great news:
To our patients with EyeMed and Spectera, we are pleased to offer our affiliate program:
- $72 routine eye exam
- 10% savings on all other services
- simplify your lenses eyewear packages starting at $95 (view promos)
- additional savings for other employees and family members referred.
We will also fill out Spectera’s OR EyeMed’s out-of-network form (if you provide it) for you to submit on your own for reimbursement. Kudos! That means double savings for you!
