​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Dr. Locke is fortunate to live her dream of helping children and adults with undiagnosed vision problems in a practice that will always promote quality healthcare. Why is Dr. Locke so passionate? Growing up, she was exposed to healthcare inequities at an early age. She later developed a passion for helping those that couldn’t advocate for themselves (children and special populations). Dr. Locke herself discovered that she suffered from functional vision problems. It was then that she was determined that others should not have to simply ‘deal’ with the symptoms that many dismiss.

Since the doors opened over a decade ago, Dr. Locke and her staff at the Family Eye Care Center of Atlanta have successfully treated and diagnosed thousands of patients with undetected functional vision disorders. She has connected with her patients in a way that allows her practice philosophy to serve the ultimate desires of our patients, which is to know they are in a safe place, with people who care. We have uncovered the secret. The only thing that WE need to do our job well and continue to show up in service…is to know that our patients are happier and healthier because of what we do!
